The stone bridge in Madrid, NY is closed to all vehicular traffic until further notice. Pedestrian traffic is permitted.
The NYS Department of Transportation ordered the closure after structural weakness was detected. There is a detour in place which takes drivers across the Grasse River at Bucks' Bridge. Please follow the signs and proceed carefully. We apologize for any inconvenience and delays this may cause.
