His will is transcribed and posted online in its entirety. His worldly
possessions were bequeathed to his wife and children:
I give and bequeath unto Mary my dear wife the precesions where I
now liveth her lifetime Then I give to my well beloved youngest son
the home plantation with fifty acres of land and a good horse Then
the rest of my lands to be equally divided amoungst my six eldest
sons Then to my two youngest daughters each of them a good feather
bed and a cow and calf Then all my moveables to be equally divided
amoungst all my sons and daughters after Mary my wife decease.

His wife, Mary, did not leave a will. Her estate was probated 2 December
1782 at Kent County, Delaware. Her son Solomon Sr. survived her by less than
four months.
