HONOR YOUR MOTHER

I’ve a right to feel sorrow, to mourn and feel grief.
I’ve a right to find refuge in faith and belief.
For I miss my mother and I don’t care who knows,
And the feeling of loss only grows.

She made my dear father a beautiful wife.
She gave me her love, and she gave me my life.
She gave me her talent, and she gave me her time,
And the memories will always be mine.

Listen to me, every daughter and son:
Honor your mother, you only get one.
Tell her you love her, and you think the world of her.
You will miss her when she passes on,
And you can’t bring her back when she’s gone.
