MY LITTLE MINNIE PEARL

All I want for Christmas
Is my little Minnie Pearl.
She’s such a good girl.

You’ll know her if you see her
Come a-walking down the street,
With six toes upon her feet.

I found her seeking shelter
From the cold rain and snow,
With no place to go.

She came in through my window
Of her own free will.
She’d be living here still,

But the neighbors got ahold of her
And carried her away,
Much to her dismay.

They’ve locked her in their house,
And she doesn’t like that.
She’s an outdoor cat.

But one of these mornings
When they let down their guard,
She’ll escape into the yard

And come running to my window
Just as fast as she can.
She’s got it all planned.

And she’ll never let them take her
Back to where she’s been,
Never again.

But I hope she does it soon,
For now it’s Christmas Eve,
And I’m starting to grieve.

All I want for Christmas
Is my little Minnie Pearl.
She’s such a good girl.
