Emma Alcestes Dill:  Born 1 October 1862, Iowa.  Married Charles Huelett (Born
August 1856).  Living 1900, Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas, with a daughter Mary.

Sarah Leona "Hattie" Dill:  Born c. 1864, Iowa.  Married Jacob Elmer Witchey
(Born c. 1863).  Living 1910, 1920, Whitehorse Township, Woods, Oklahoma.
Buried at Sterling, Rice, Kansas.  Nine children.

Elizabeth Josephine "Lizzie" Dill:  Born 24 September 1865, Mount Sterling,
Van Buren, Iowa.  Died 28 November 1936, Sterling, Rice, Kansas.  Married
Thomas Jefferson Heter (Born 1 May 1857, Seneca County, Ohio; Died 6 Aug 1913,
Sterling, Rice, Kansas).  Eight children.

Ellen "Ella" D. Dill:  Born c. 1868, Missouri.  Married William Chapman.
Living 1900, Colorado Springs, El Paso, Colorado.  Living 1920, Mineral Wells,
Palo Pinto, Texas.  At least two children.

John Arthur "Johnnie" Dill:  Born 16 March 1869, Missouri.  Died 15 April 1876,
Sterling, Rice, Kansas, at age 9.

Olie Anson Dill:  Born 3 June 1870, Missouri.  Died Sterling, Rice, Kansas, at
age 20.

William H. “Willie” Dill:  Born c. 1875, Missouri.  Never married.  Living 1910
with his brother Arthur David Dill (a.k.a. David Arthur Dill) in Bald Hill
Township, Okmulgee, Oklahoma (see below).  Living 1920, Morris, Okmulgee,
Oklahoma.

Mary Myrtle “Maud” Dill:  Born c. 1877, Kansas.  Married James William Martin.
Living 1910 and 1915 in Whitehouse, near Alva, Woods, Oklahoma.  Living 1920
and 1930, Paonia, Delta, Colorado.  Two sons: Chester and Marion.

David Arthur Dill (a.k.a. Arthur David Dill):  Born January 1881, Kansas.
Married Eva.  Living 1910, 1920, 1930, Bald Hill Township, Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Five children.

Bessie M. Dill:  Born May 1882, Kansas.  Married John Van Nest.  Living 1910,
Ingalls Township, Gray, Kansas.  Living 1920, Bald Hill Township, Okmulgee,
Oklahoma.  At least six children.

According to David R. Dill’s obituary (Sterling Kansas Bulletin, 28 January
1915), he died on 21 January 1915 while he and his wife were visiting the home
of their daughter, Mrs. William Martin, near Alva, Oklahoma.  The obituary
states that David R. Dill was born 14 August 1832 in Rushville, Indiana.  At
the age of twenty he married Amanda Gregg, who bore him two children:  Mrs.
Laura Ritenour and Mr. Monroe Dill.  Seven years later he married Rebecca
Kinton, who bore him seven sons (including one who died in infancy), and five
daughters.  According to Mrs. Dill’s obituary (Sterling Kansas Bulletin, 29
January 1920), she died on 22 January 1920 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T.
J. Heter (Lizzie Dill) in Sterling, Kansas, at the age of 79 years, 9 months,
and 10 days.  She was born 12 April 1840 in Scotland County, Missouri.  She and
David R. Dill were married on Christmas Day in 1860 at Mount Sterling, Iowa.

Census records from 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900 and 1910 agree that both of Lizzie
Dill’s parents were born in Indiana.  However, the census records are
contradictory in regard to the birth places of her grandparents:
