   Eliza Heater:  Born August 1837, Thompson Township, Seneca, Ohio;
   Married Philip Cupp, of Seneca County, Ohio, 1 April 1858; Died 1931,
   Bellevue, Sandusky, Ohio.

According to Thomas Marion Heter:  “The early life of this family was spent in
the wilds of Seneca and Wayne counties in Ohio.  Some of their playmates were
Indians.  Their school privileges were very limited for there were then no
summer schools and as soon as they were old enough they helped their father in
clearing land, chopping wood, making rails, building fences, husking corn,
threshing grain with the flail, or in the winter season by tramping the horses,
