LIFE’S LESSONS LEARNED

The breath of life is a precious thing;
Be glad to have the chance.
We owe our parents everything
For letting us join the dance.
So forgive them for their weaknesses,
Remember what was good,
And know they always loved you,
And they did the best they could.

The gift of love is a blessed thing,
As fleeting as the dawn.
Like a bird upon the wing
It’s here, and then it’s gone.
So know it when you see it,
And don’t ask why or when.
If you think you do not need it,
Then it may not come again.

The power of prayer is an awesome thing.
We all must understand
That we can change but certain things;
The rest are in God’s hands.
So have faith in your own powers,
And greater faith in his.
With faith all things are possible;
Without it, nothing is.
